Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger (GL): Maintain accurate financial records and perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to management in a clear and timely manner.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation of payroll data and ensure accurate tax withholdings and deductions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of professional accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) is mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to analyze data and detect discrepancies with high precision.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
- License: CPA certification is a plus but not required.
