Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and facilitate tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting for department managers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
