Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage general ledger functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and tax documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- 2+ years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
