Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all deductions and taxes are correct.
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and GAAP principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
