Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with precise attention to detail and regulatory compliance
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely disbursement through our weekly pay system
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and subsidiary ledgers
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Support external audits and tax preparation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance beneficial
