Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience (experience with manufacturing or retail preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills required.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
