Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with Florida state regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and growth strategies
- Maintain accurate general ledgers using QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Mentor junior accountants and implement best practices in financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial analysis software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Florida tax laws
