Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare financial statements and variance analyses with clear narrative explanations
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and expense optimization
- Process bi-weekly payroll with precision and maintain employee records
- Conduct audits and reconcile accounts to ensure data integrity
- Support tax preparation processes and document management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Texas tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) beneficial
