The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the accuracy of our financial statements and the integrity of our accounting systems. You will work closely with management to provide actionable financial insights and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-month close process, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and delivered on time.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts.
- Lead external audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors.
- Streamline internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
