Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end closes
- Prepare financial statements and variance analyses for diverse client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state-specific tax regulations
- Lead audit preparation and documentation processes
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA preferred
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven track record in process optimization
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments
