Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, courteous service at the teller window.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, balancing cash drawers daily, and identifying counterfeit currency.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, applying for loans, and navigating digital banking platforms.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
- Refer customers to appropriate departments for specialized services.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory (we train great people!).
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict security and compliance procedures.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as part of the banking schedule.
