Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and cash flow projections for commercial loan applications
- Prepare detailed credit memos highlighting risk factors and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing portfolios for covenant compliance and early risk detection
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting regional markets
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining strict adherence to compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Proficiency in credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and commercial underwriting principles
- Strong Excel modeling skills with advanced formula knowledge
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Series 63/66 or relevant securities licenses (a plus)
