Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing process with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Support external and internal audits with requested documentation and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work effectively during weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
