Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls across all financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of accounting workflows
- Lead accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Prepare executive dashboards and variance analysis for senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end/close procedures
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
