Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and balance sheets on a weekly basis.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely for the weekend workforce.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and review expense reports for accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audits, working closely with external auditors.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation for the upcoming fiscal period.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
