Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process weekly payroll for weekend staff and ensure all deductions and taxes are accurate.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for review.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Perform internal audits and variance analysis to identify financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance department to optimize accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
