Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts weekly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical financial records.
- Perform internal audits to identify discrepancies and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in general accounting or finance.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and accurately during weekend shifts.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required.
