Responsibilities
- Execute weekend-end month-end closing procedures including reconciliations and journal entries
- Process payroll and accounts payable/receivable transactions with weekend deadlines
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis for weekend-closed accounts
- Collaborate with remote teams to resolve weekend financial discrepancies
- Maintain digital financial records in compliance with GAAP standards
- Support tax preparation and weekend filing deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel
- Proven weekend shift adaptability and time management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Knowledge of Kansas financial regulations
