Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes with weekend-specific deadlines
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax withholdings for weekend staff
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial transactions
- Collaborate with auditors during weekend compliance reviews
- Support budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Train weekend finance associates on accounting software and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and weekend-specific tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state financial compliance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
