Responsibilities
- Execute weekend month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Process payroll and vendor payments on Saturday/Sunday shifts
- Prepare weekend financial reports and audit trail documentation
- Support weekday team with account analysis and variance reporting
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Collaborate with auditors during weekend site visits
- Optimize weekend accounting workflows using QuickBooks Enterprise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift preference
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday 8AM-5PM)
