Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with weekend-specific deadlines
- Prepare financial statements and management reports adhering to GAAP standards
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and compliance filings
- Support internal audits and ensure SOX compliance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend financial initiatives
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail with error detection abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight weekend deadlines
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
