Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of local and federal tax filings and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with the management team to prepare budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero, and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
