As an Accountant at Apex Financial Solutions, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring full compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Perform internal audits and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Utilize accounting software to track financial transactions and generate reports.
- Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
