Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis.
- Support tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
