Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external audits.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CPA candidate status preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and auditing processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
