Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns and support external audit requirements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all company employees.
- Monitor budget-to-actual variances and provide detailed reports to management.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and assist in month-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
