Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure strict adherence to GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and accuracy.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Prepare budgets and variance analysis for executive review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
