Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with federal and state tax preparation and filings to ensure compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly closing procedures efficiently.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and management of accounts payable and receivable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2-5 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
