Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and compliance reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently and accurately.
- Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and local regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation (optional but preferred).
