Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in strict adherence to GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Maintain and update accounting software and databases with precise data entry.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
