Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and audit preparation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
