Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with 100% accuracy.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all general ledger accounts are accurately maintained.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and budgeting materials for stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations and GAAP standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and implement solutions to optimize operations.
- Assistance: Support the finance team during the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity in high-volume environments.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial staff.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
