Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements and standards.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including time tracking and deductions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups) required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
