Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and speed.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
