Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations and financial reporting for assigned client portfolios
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing with strict deadlines
- Prepare and file weekend payroll tax filings and quarterly reports
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and California tax regulations
- Collaborate with weekday team using secure cloud-based accounting platforms
- Provide weekend financial analysis support to business clients
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and MS Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Expertise in QuickBooks, MS Excel, and cloud accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of California tax laws and payroll regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) required
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, or EA) preferred
