Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, general ledger entries, and balance sheets in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform monthly financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and year-end audits.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
