Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external review.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Assist with year-end audits and prepare supporting schedules for auditors.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage expense reports efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
