Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights on financial performance and variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
