Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform routine bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly preferred but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
