Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with tax regulations.
- Perform internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Process payroll accurately and timely for all company employees.
- Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses for executive review.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (immediate hire consideration for top candidates).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
