- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform accurate month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare detailed bank reconciliations monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Prepare and distribute timely financial reports to management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
