Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports for client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax requirements
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for 50+ employees
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and internal controls
- Conduct financial audits and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with payroll systems (ADP/Workday)
- Strong knowledge of Arizona state tax regulations
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or similar platform
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
