Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and invoices are collected accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
