Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Process payroll with daily disbursement options for employees
- Prepare financial statements and compliance reports for diverse client portfolios
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue optimization
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and Louisiana state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with payroll processing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Louisiana tax requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
