Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are paid and collections are managed effectively.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and tax planning strategies.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews of financial data to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes and financial controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present financial data to stakeholders.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
