Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly with high accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support business decisions.
- Provide financial insights to management to improve profitability.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
