Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions across client accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and vendor payments with strict deadline adherence
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or comparable accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- CPA certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven ability to meet daily deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
