Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and compliance reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights on budget variances and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
