Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll with weekly disbursement
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CPA certification preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detroit metro area residency preferred
