Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech domains
- Produce executive-ready future-state reports with actionable recommendations for R&D priorities
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise product teams on future-proofing technologies against emerging disruptors
- Represent the company at global forums on future tech governance and ethics
- Mentor junior futurists and curate an internal innovation incubator
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of publishing future-state frameworks adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in systems thinking, complexity theory, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of 2026+ tech vectors (AGI, quantum internet, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate abstract futures to diverse stakeholders
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-proofing initiatives
